Central Texas Foster Care
Where Faith Becomes Family

Four Points Kids is a Central Texas nonprofit answering a simple call: place children in loving homes and equip those homes to flourish. We are a Christian ministry sustained by private generosity so that families can be prepared—without cost barriers—and children can experience steady, safe care rooted in the love of Christ.

“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless…” — Isaiah 1:17

Our Mission

To prepare and sustain foster families so that children encounter stability, compassion, and hope—today and for the long haul. We provide comprehensive training at no charge (a $5,000 value), ongoing coaching, and hands-on help through the tough hours and the tender moments.

Faithful Homes, Restored Futures

When a child enters care—through sudden crisis or after trauma—what they need most is consistent, nurturing relationship. Institutions cannot mirror the daily rhythms of a home where meals, bedtime prayers, and healthy attachments teach the heart to rest. We champion placements in households that model faithfulness, kindness, and wise boundaries.

“The Lord… upholds the widow and the fatherless.” — Psalm 146:9

Our Core Commitments

  • Christ at the center: Our decisions, priorities, and posture are guided by Scripture and prayer. (Colossians 3:17)

  • Family-first placement: We advocate for home environments where children can attach, observe healthy relationships, and grow. (Deuteronomy 10:18)

  • Trauma-wise care: We are TBRI®-informed, teaching practical tools that build trust and connection, not mere compliance.

  • Whole-household engagement: We invite parents, kids, and grandparents into the mission so everyone knows how to support well. (Joshua 24:15)

  • Always within reach: When challenges surface, we respond—coaching through behaviors, coordinating resources, and showing up. (Hebrews 13:16)

  • Transparent stewardship: Clear communication, ethical practice, thorough documentation, and advocacy—including medical evaluations when behavior may have underlying causes. (2 Corinthians 8:21)

What Makes Us Different

  • Retention that lasts: 90–95% of our foster families remain active, far exceeding common drop-off rates elsewhere.

  • Real support, not lip service: 2,000+ hours of training offered this year; monthly gatherings to troubleshoot and encourage; year-round family events (from gift drives to Easter celebrations).

  • Access without invoices: Training and licensing preparation are free to foster families—underwritten by donors so finances never block a “yes.”

  • Lived experience on staff: Our team includes former foster youth, foster parents, and people raised in foster-welcoming homes.

When The Need Is Now, We Say "Yes"

We receive roughly 20 calls each day for children who need placement, and we typically care for 15–20 children at a time. Many newly licensed families receive a placement quickly because the need is urgent.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good…” — Galatians 6:9
