Learn more about 4PointsKids foster care and adoption and how you can advocate for foster kids in Central Texas.

Awareness/Orientation Classes​​​​​

These meetings takes place in-person (unless otherwise noted). Meeting at:

4Points Family Services Training Center and Office

Celebration Church Campus (Annex)

601 Westinghouse Road, Georgetown TX 78628, Suite 7b.

(As you enter the Celebration Church campus the Annex is the cluster of building you first see to the right as you drive up the hill. Park at the basketball court. On the right side of the basketball court is the ramp onto the "boardwalk". Turn right on the boardwalk and go all the way to the end. Suite 7b.)

Upon Completion of Orientation:

  • You will receive an automated email from alerts@extendedreach.com.

  • You will be instructed to create an account in Extended Reach, which is the 4PointsKids online management system. 

  • You will then complete an online application and fill out your background check forms.

  • If you’re ready to move forward to becoming a foster parent, you will register for Pre-Service training. (In Pre-Service training you will learn about each upcoming training module, all paperwork, how to navigate Extended Reach and much more.) 

  • Once you have completed your application and background check forms (all found on your new extendedReach website) and are registered for Pre-Service Training you will move on to Stacie Campbell (stacie@4points.life) who will be your point of contact for trainings.

 4PointsKids Training - Next Steps

About 4PointsKids Foster & Adoption Parent Training

Training for 4Points foster families is accomplished using a combination of in-person and online ZOOM trainings and self-instructional trainings. We provide an in-depth Pre-Service Educational Curriculum for all families that meets and exceeds state requirements for children at the basic and moderate levels.

​

After completing Orientation all communication regarding further training, both live and online, will be provided through the 4PointsKids Extended Reach web-based management & communication platform and 4PointsKids staff. 

​

  • ACES Paper Tiger Debrief - April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, August 20
